this is the whole point of what we are doing. we are trying to prepare our hearts and open our ears to the words Christ's disciples and prophets have for us.

i love this thought, it always makes me think of an experience with the early saints that they were called to go and save some stranded saints in the middle of the night. no delay. prepared and give what they had because the prophet asked.
how do we prepare ourselves?
"Keep yourselves clean and pure and worthy to represent the Lord. Maintain your health and strength. Study the scriptures."
be worthy to go to the temple at any time. that is the goal.

this quote totally made it for me. Christ notices EVERYTHING. we are meaningful, powerful and beautiful creations of the Lord. i think Satan tries to make us feel useless, just a number, insignificant and its absolutely RIDICULOUS.
"No one of you is insignificant, in part because you make the gospel of Jesus Christ what it is—a living reminder of His grace and mercy..."
i like the words 'living reminder'. through our actions, the way we LIVE, we can exemplify Christs' gospel.
